Garlic Butter Plaice
When stuck for ideas, garlic butter never fails to create an amazing dish (which is why you see it literally all over our recipe pages). This herby, garlicky, roasted plaice is an absolute treat. Serve it up with some chips and salad for the ultimate fishy treat, (just don't try to kiss anyone after).
You'll need:

1 whole plaice, 500-750g

60g butter, softened

10g parsley

10g basil

5g chives
-
5 large garlic gloves

1 lemon, juiced and zested

1tbsp olive oil

Preheat the oven to 220C. In a blender, add all the herbs, garlic, lemon juice and the zest. Blend into a paste, slowly drizzling the olive oil in to help emulsify the paste into a sauce. Add the butter and blend until evenly mixed.
Pat the plaice with kitchen towel then slather over the butter. Line a baking tray with baking paper, then add the plaice. Roast for 15 minutes, remove, then rest for five minutes
Gently pull the meat off the fish with a fork and serve with chips. Enjoy
