Arrives frozen (why?)
It beggars belief why we've not woken up to the brilliance of Spider Crab Meat until now. With Brown Crab stocks on the decline, compounded by the fact that Spider Crab are an invasive species on the ground, we should be gobbling it up. Moreover, it's a sweeter meat than brown crab - it's just annoyingly fiddly to hand pick. However, Pete and his team on Jersey run an incredible F1 process to cook, pick and pack in less than an hour from the crab coming out the water.

Our crab meat is packed in 100% recyclable packaging.
Freezer Life
All of our meat and seafood can be kept in the freezer for at least 6 months, but refer to the best before date on each pack.
Storage & Use
We deliver all our seafood frozen ready for you to put straight into the freezer. If any of your seafood has thawed slightly during transportation it is completely safe to pop straight into your freezer.
When coming to use your crab meat, defrost thoroughly in the refrigerator and consume within 3 days. Keep refrigerated after thawing. Consume within 24 hours of opening.
